Our Staff

A graduate of Northwest Christian University in 2007, James comes to us with a variety of experiences.  James has served the church in many capacities, from interim pastor to a licensed lay preacher for the Episcopal Church, and working with youth.  James is looking forward to building community relationships here and exploring what types of ministries may be appropriate for this area.

James has a passion for assisting individuals who are in desperate need for food, housing, freedom from addiction. James and his wife Kee operated a successful food pantry in Springfield OR, for 8 years prior to joining us. He also was the director of "Grace at Work" , a ministry designed to assist those who were housing insecure or experienced disabilities, by providing them volunteer opportunities to build job skills , and transition them into paid employment. 

In his spare time, James enjoys fishing, bowling, camping, and has been known from time to time to chase little white balls down the fairway (when he can find them with his slice). He is an avid reader and a fan of all things  "Star-Wars".
